Pro versus standard, which is now a chasm
The 14 Pro introduced the always-on display and the 48MP camera, and second-hand buyers pay for both. The gap between a 14 and a 14 Pro is wider today than it was at launch. If yours is a Pro, this is the good news on the page.
It is still Lightning
This is the honest bad news. Being on the old connector puts a ceiling on what a 14 fetches, because a buyer weighing a 14 against a 15 is weighing one cable against another. We cannot price around it, but it is priced in rather than sprung on you later.
Battery health, which is often the deciding factor now
Most 14s have crossed or are approaching 80%. Below that line the offer changes noticeably, because a replacement becomes something the next owner has to budget for rather than something they can put off.
Screen burn on the Pro's always-on display
Uncommon, but real on heavily used units, and it is the sort of thing an owner stops noticing. Look at a plain white screen at full brightness before you describe the condition.
