Almost every buyback site says it buys broken phones. The difference is what happens after you send one. The common trick in this industry is to quote a good price online, take delivery, discover a fault you already declared, and offer you a fraction of the original price knowing you will accept rather than pay to have it sent back.
We price the fault up front instead. You tell the calculator what is wrong, the offer you see already takes it into account, and that is what we pay. If we find something you did not declare, we phone you and you choose: take the revised offer or have it couriered back, free.
That policy costs us money on the odd device. It is also the entire reason this business has been running since 2013 without having to advertise very hard.

What still works, not what does not
The offer is built from the parts that survived. A phone with a shattered screen and a perfect logic board is worth far more than a pristine phone that took a swim, even though the second one looks better in a photo.
Liquid damage is the one we cannot buy
Everything else on this page is a deduction. Liquid is a decline, because it reaches the whole board rather than one component and can surface months after it dries, and we sell every phone with a warranty behind it. Apple's moisture indicators make it visible on arrival whether it is mentioned or not, so please do not send one.
Activation Lock still applies
A broken phone still has to be signed out. This catches people, because a phone with a dead screen is hard to erase. You can do it from iCloud.com on any browser, and it is worth doing before you send it rather than after.
Do not have it repaired first
A repair on a phone you are selling almost never returns what it cost, and an aftermarket part can lower the offer below where the unrepaired phone would have sat. Send it broken.
